Deepak Tandon's words

" .....the soul of my works is hidden in the words “Merger, transformation, and organic fractals” and very often an element of the 3rd dimension can be witnessed in my 2 dimensional works.
Most of the works weave within them a pair of opposites, it maybe the oscillation of a perspective between the micro and the macro, the animate and the in-animate, use of transforming colors or the challenge of creating an illusion through pure abstraction. "

Prasantha Sahu is from Santhiniketan. He says about one of the work presented above....

" This drawing ( blue print of foot ) is my interpretation of relocation and migration, which is as ancient as the human race itself. But here, I am talking about a forceful  unwanted migration, where people involuntarily leave their  native regions due to riots between different classes, threat to life or race.Sometimes this exodus walks hundreds of miles to save their lives and family. In India, ethnic minorities fleeing their homeland and transplanting to other parts to save their lives is a tragic event we come across repeatedly throughout our history. There have been numerous eerie repetitions of the India-Pakistan partition and the India Bangladesh division.Yet I fail to see any change in the situation in last 60- 70 years. In post independent India, Kashmiri Pundits, Tibetans, and lately the flight of the Hindu community from Pakistan and the very recent incident in Assam repeats the same age old story. This painfully tragic practice of a person or persons unwillingly leaving the homeland/home in ones lifetime is in complete strife with the very basics of humanity.
In the work, The shape of a leg ( my own leg) is imprinted/ embossed with a regional map of India, which looks like skin textures, veins, hairs. We always carry within us the culture, ethics, social customs. The angst of displacement imprints the lost homeland within us. The Map, the landscape, rivers, lakes mountains etc is not an external entity rather becomes an integral part of the body itself."
